Mersea lights up is back for 2023

Mersea lights up is on Saturday 9th December. This all day event starts at 10am and finishes at 8pm.
The Christmas lights get switched on at 5.00pm out side the MICA, a whole day of family fun around the island.
There will be live music and dance entertainment in the MICA main hall throughout the day,
There will be Rides and Stalls which will be based along the high street as well as more stalls in the main hall at the MICA, Royal Legion, Scouts hut and the WI Hall.
We have Santa in stockings scavenger hunt this year with 8 Santa’s all around the island, for you to find and win a prize.
Plus, Santa will be in his grotto but this year it’s in the warm in the MICA so come and see Santa with his presents to give out. So, get those lists ready.
