A team of arctic explorers are off to Finland for the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance
A team of arctic explorers are doing a trek to Finland to raise much needed funds for the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance. The group set off this morning 2nd March 2023.
The 5 day trek will see the team snow-shoeing to a remote overnight cabin and pushing themselves in this harsh but compelling environment, they will also try cross-country skiing and husky-sledding. They will stay in traditional log cabins in the woods, before relaxing in Finnish saunas. The team may also witness the captivating dance of the Northern Lights.
