Hygge Swap Shop

GEMS runs a 'Hygge Zero Waste Swap Shop' once a week on a Friday(10am to 2pm) from the En-form building in Church walk (upside of Vinny's Cafe) and we hope that it will bring some happiness into your life, parting with items you no longer want in the knowledge that someone else will love them as you did, but also finding new things to make you happy whilst meeting and chatting with like-minded people. Join us for one of our swaps and get a little 'Hygge' into your life, you will be most welcome. Bring in up to five items and take away as many as you like. Clothes; Accessories; Books; DVD's; Shoes; Bedding; Kitchen items; etc, clean and in good condition. We cannot accept Electrical Items or Furniture, but we have a noticeboard where you can advertise these items as long as they are free.
With these trying financial times it makes sense to work on a 'zero waste' lifestyle, getting rid of items that you no longer want or need, but without them ending up in landfill. And also perhaps finding items that you do need but maybe can't currently afford.
