Cancer Research UK, Relay for Life Colchester 2023. Taking Place at The Garrison athletics stadium. For our 10th Year Join us beat cancer sooner Come & Join US.

As part of the event you could come down and see amazing live music from the likes of Kieran Waite doing is tribute to Robbie Williams (voted one of UK best Robbie tributes) at 2pm. Also we have local talented vocals from Wendy Wild who will be doing a live set of west end musical theatre songs and more at 12:30pm. In the Evening we have local band Solid Gold doing two sets before and after the very emotional Candle of Hope ceremony, come down decorate a candle bag to someone you love and miss.

Relay for Life is a cancer research UK event taking place in Colchester at the garrison athletics ground on Abbeyfields look out for the CRUK sign posts. Also watch the amazing Colchester cancer choir perform in the afternoon and at dusk as part of the candle of hope. All money raised goes directly to cancer research UK. The whole event is held together by our "Mr 24hour" DJ AL Hosting the full 24 Hours again who received last year's Spirit of relay award.

22nd July 2023 Relay For Life is a community festival celebrating the power of fundraising in the fight to beat cancer. Teams fundraise for life-saving cancer research then unite at a weekend-long festival to honour everyone who has been affected by cancer.
The festival is focused around a 24-hour relay where team members take it in turns to walk around a track to show that together we will beat cancer. There will be music and activities throughout the 24 hour event and a Candle of Hope ceremony to honour every life touched by cancer. Dedicating candles to someone no longer with us, a friend or family member living with cancer, a loved one who has survived, or hope for the future - a world where all cancers are cured.
Entry is free, simply join your local Relay by starting a team, joining a team or by taking part as a survivor. Join a Team, Make your own new team or just come down on Saturday and see us lots going on Live entertainment and our Host DJ Alun on Stage the whole 24 hours playing music and introducing the entertainment acts we have for you.
