St Helena Hospice is celebrating its 40th anniversary with two exhibitions at the historical Jaywick Martello Tower.
‘Life Stories’ celebrates people as individuals beyond their diagnosis as they reflect on a whole life lived. In a project kindly funded by Essex County Council’s Arts & Cultural Fund, some of the people supported by the Hospice across north east Essex, record their memories and anecdotes about life.
Running alongside the exhibition is ‘Heritage Stories’, a collection of oral histories from people involved in the very beginning of St Helena Hospice.
Both exhibitions can be viewed Thursdays to Sundays until 22nd June 10-4
