Under 16s: FREE
Disabled adult visitors pay the standard £10 admission fee, with one accompanying carer admitted free where assistance is required.
Disabled children under 16 enter free, and one accompanying parent/carer will also receive free admission where assistance is required.

Kings Meadow
End of Catchpool Road

Walk along Pavilion View and cross via the Lower Castle Park footbridge — approximately a 5-minute walk to the festival site.
The route will be clearly signposted, with staff on hand to assist with directions.
Disabled parking is available at the leisure centre.

Experience authentic encampments, battle displays, cookery demonstrations, weaponry, and daily life from the Roman, Viking, and Medieval eras.
Attractions Include:
One of Britain’s largest and most exciting longbow competitions
Archery and axe throwing activities
Storytellers, puppeteers, musicians, traders, and hawkers
A grand historical market filled with unique treasures
Ale bars, hog roast, and excellent food outlets
Free dressing-up activities and entertainment for children
Dogs are welcome with responsible owners.
Alcohol & Bag Search Policy
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, attendees are not permitted to bring their own alcohol into the event. Bag searches will be conducted at the entrance, and any alcohol found will be confiscated. By purchasing a ticket and attending the event, guests agree to comply with this policy.
