More Information (Actual Radio is not responsible for external websites)

Welcome is an interactive site-responsive performance that invites you to reflect on your interactions with people you don’t know in new contexts.

Wearing full-face masks and headphones, you will be guided through a sound-based narrative that offers a reimagined perspective of your surroundings.

Set in unconventional locations and facilitated by performers, Welcome transforms everyday spaces into immersive landscapes. The sessions will encourage you to engage with your environment and other people in new ways.

This is a fully interactive experience. You will be required to wear headphones and a full-face mask for the duration of the performance. There is no speaking involved, but active engagement through movement.

This event is suitable for ages 12+.

    The Platforma Festival
This creative event is co-commissioned by Counterpoints Arts as part of the Platforma Festival. Platforma takes place in a different area of England every two years and presents work by, with, and about refugees. Platforma 2025 is taking place this autumn across the East of England.

Counterpoints Arts is a leading national organisation, whose mission is the belief that art is much more than a visual experience; that it can open spaces for people to talk across differences, inspire community participation and support a more compassionate society.
